Pupil premium and recovery premium

The pupil premium is additional funding that is given to schools to address the inequalities between children who have been previously, or are currently eligible for free school meals.

The aim of the funding is to close the gap in both attainment and progress between those pupils eligible for pupil premium and their peers.
